Sharing Our Idea
Posted on 12 October 2015
Have you ever had an idea that you thought was so great you just had to follow through and do it or make it or yell it out for all the world to hear? That’s sort of how it began for Jeanine and me. We had this great idea. We knew it was great because it came directly from experience and necessity. We researched it, designed it, agonized over every detail of it – compromised on some of it (after all we are two individuals!) and found people to help interpret our vision. Along the way we met incredibly supportive people, who not only listened to our idea but enthusiastically wanted to help us achieve our goal, guide us through and introduce us to the right people. To all of our “angels” we are so grateful.
One such group of women is our team at TAG. A very good friend of Jeanine’s who is in PR knew these women and thought that they would be a good fit for us.
Even though Jeanine and I were just beginning to look at firms, we thought, why not. Let’s set up a meeting with them and hear what they have to say.
Jeanine and I were anxious about presenting our idea to TAG. We just weren’t sure what type of reception we were going to receive. But from the first moment we stepped foot in their offices, Terri and Gina (and Susan) could not have been more welcoming and enthusiastic. They believed in us right from the start and have never wavered. Not only have they done a tremendous job for us in establishing our brand but have remained some of our staunchest supporters.
From the beginning they understood us. They helped us achieve our vision and encouraged us to use our own voice. Andy was right – they were a great fit.
If you are going into any business, surround yourself with great people who will help you enjoy your journey!
